Wolcott, who is free on bail, is scheduled to be sentenced in February on a felony count of interstate transmission of threats. As part of her plea, Wolcott has to forfeit the $125,000 in shakedown payments and an Apple laptop computer.

Her mother got a loan for her. (Well, the borrower *said* she was her mother... could be that Jess stole an identity and came on here pretending to be her mother for all we know.) EDIT: That loan, with AA credit, is now Late, if I recall correctly.

FURTHER EDIT: It's current again. Could be that the mother really did take out a loan for her daughter, and is only now finding out how messed-up her daughter really is.

Wow oh wow! L5 is into that loan for 2 grand. I remember that stupid story about the incredibly long name! Same fireplace picture. Simply amazing.

quite possibly the arrest might have made a change of bank accounts necessary (complete speculation on my part, but would make sense)

Ah. Sad if the mom really did take out a loan for her, and is now posting bail... imagine finding out your darling daughter is a grifter.

the only thing about that loan is momma is now making the payment because she could be in the jackpot if the loan goes south.

The sad part is that even if the loan stays to term, Prosper is still going to get negative press about it. I mean this story makes Prosper look like a place for con artists to get funded.

Allegedly, JessM was a jet-setting model with multiple residences. Turns out she's an expensive hooker/gold-digger/nightmare.

Nothing like being right for the wrong reasons :)
