nav Business loan for start up Mary Kay inventory, Please give me a chance :)
triforce0406    Posted: Feb-8-2007 7:49 PM

I am starting up with Mary Kay, as you can read in my description I fully feel that it is going to be a very successful business. I know my credit is bad right now, but I am getting a divorce right now, and we had run into problems finically. I am going to make this business thrive :) I know the interest rate is a little low considering the credit score, but it is as high as the state of Maine will allow.
All the inventory that I will purchase is returnable (at 90% buy back rate) for up to one year. I am part of the group MK Pink Success.
I am getting full control of my life, including the finical aspect. I have had some problems in the past, but my husband and I had made some bad decisions. I have the income to pay the loan currently, but I will also be using the money to buy inventory which I will turn around and sell for a 50% profit. I already have many people lined up, and everyone I've talked to in Mary Kay (directors, etc.) feel that I am going to be wonderful since I am so excited and have a great attitude about it and everything else.
I do hope someone gives me the chance to make this come true the way I would like it to. On the first order there are great incentives and get substantial free products to sell when you have a large start up order.
As I said I hope someone gives me a chance to make this happen, but no matter what I will succeed in this venture. If I happen to not get the loan it may take a little longer, but everything will eventually happen. I will be an extremely dedicated Mary Kay independent beauty consultant. And I will also move up in the world of Mary Kay, and get to the higher levels.
Thank you for your time
Cheryl Goyette Donovan

Please add a link to your listing in your signature line. This will follow you from post-to-post and get more lender eyeballs. Remember to click on the link after adding to make sure it works.

Instructions for adding link courtesy of Patio11:

First, copy your listing's URL (the http:// stuff) to the clipboard. Then, look up at the top of this page where it says Logged in as: (you). Click your name. Click edit signature. Click the button which says http:// on it, paste (Ctrl-V) in your URL. Hit enter. Then put in a name like "Please bid on my listing", hit enter, and click "Update my Signature". Voila, you're done. Group Leader Endorsement
Mary Kay, Inc. backs the investment in inventory by agreeing to repurchase all unused products at 90% of the purchase price for up to 1 year from the purchase. This gives consultants a try at business ownership with minimal risk. We make 50% from the sale of our products so we automatically have money from product sales to repay loans. In the event a consultant decides to discontinue he Mary Kay business, she could repay her loan with the 90% buy back guarantee from the Company.

Well it seems like Mary Kay, Inc. can take care of this without adding to this borrowers burden.

Thanks for remembering the link..keeping it available for all lenders to find is easy to do and adding a "link" to your listing in your signature line will get more lenders to review your loan.

To add a link to your listing in your "signature" (looks like the link to mine below the dotted line). Click on your own name above (Logged in as). In the information block on bottom left, use "copy & Paste" method on the "home page" link (http part). Add link to your signature by going to "my controls" at the top of this page and choosing "edit signature" from the menu on the left.

It will follow you on every mssg you post.

The easier it is for lenders to find your listing, the easier it is for them to bid!!

Will Mary Kay pay me 90% of my loan if Mrs. Donovan defaults? Isn't that just the cutest endorsement you've ever seen?

I bid $250 at 24%. (That's 4+% less than the only other loan that MK Pink Success has ever made.)

Bren51, if you're reading this, we need to have a serious discussion about what an endorsement is (and isn't.)

I sent the messages to the people that asked, but then I thought others might want to know.
Justin is my husband, like I said we are getting a divorce but it hasn't offically happened yet.
With the Mary Kay return of inventory....I think if for some reason I sent it back they would send me the check and then I would be the one using the money for the loan....BUT I'm going to make this business work so I won't even have to worry about unsold inventory. But if for some freak reason it didn't go well, yes I could return it at 90% buy back.
Thanks :)
Cheryl

What income source did you enter into the Prosper profile? Was it only based on your current employment or did you also include projected Mary Kay income?

Update:

I am doing well - taking 4 courses right now. (Business Law, Business Information Systems & Communication, Micro Economics, Managerial Accounting.)

With recent changes, where Prosper has removed GL access to any personal borrower info, I can no longer work with new borrowers. I have no way of knowing the person applying for a loan is the same person in vetting documents.

I used only my current income which is the job I have been at for 6 and 1/2 years. I am the manager there and am going to eventually lease and buy the store down the road, so my job is very secure. But yes I used only my real current income, without any projected from Mary Kay.

Sorry I didn't really have anything to say, but I wanted to put a post up so this maybe got on the first page again. I am just hoping that more people will see it, and hopefully put a bid on. I am really hoping that I can get this loan.
Thanks :)

No bids yet, this loan really means a lot to me. If you would at least look at my listing and consider bidding, it would mean so much. I really am hoping to get this loan. I will be able to make the payments with no problems, I had just run into problems that are now getting fixed.
Thank you

Just a suggestion you may want to check into arbonne.com. My closet friend does exceptionally well with this line of products. It is all natural.
